Teens!

Okay, so this is a topic that's always on my mind. I know the teenagers would love to read this and make points how there generation is perfect, but it's not and that's coming from a teenager. Why do us teenagers think we know everything and can survive anything. I am speaking for The United States only. Not only do the teenagers have no morals but I come to realize that they have lack of motivation. Most teens have the feeling that they should live the way they want because it's there life. Smoking, Drinking, and the crime rates went up for teens. I have heard more murders have happened then I have ever heard of, I heard them through teenagers from school. Murders from people getting jumped, shot at, and stabbed. As I was at school one day someone told be another has died over the weekend and they were devastated as they told me what had happened, the very next day the same person and I quote said "I'm about to hit up that party tonight want to go?". Teenagers take life for granted, of course no one makes it out in the end but why cut it short in the first place. We went from a time of being able to keep the doors open at night to a time where we have to not only lock our doors but now we have to lock every single window too. It's "revival of the fittest" I guess and whoever makes it out, makes it out. Maybe I'm overreacting but I think that teenagers nowadays don't look at life the same. Sometimes it's even the parents that participate in the teens behavior, I have heard comments that were made that stated " Yeah want to come over. We can smoke with my dad his getting some bud today." So what do you think am I just overreacting or is it true? Comment and let me know! (: Make a point that would change my mind!

Life Isn't Fair?

Why are things different for some people and not for others? I mean I understand when someone works harder then the other so they have more then the another might, but what if your in the same circumstance. What if you did everything the other person did but they didn't get the same punishment or one didn't achieve the same as the other. What if you and a friend were to commit a crime and you both did the exact same damage but one got less of a punishment. I have heard it more then a million and two times that life isn't fair, so please don't tell me it again I don't want to hear that. My older brother has been in prison for two years now since he was nineteen years young. He was only nineteen when they took him and to me that's still very young. He made a mistake, he hung out with the wrong crew at the wrong time, he robbed some places as they said and I don't know what is true but I do know his sentence was horrible. I was there when he came out in the orange suit and stood there in front of the judge, he knew what was coming because before the sentence even came out the the judges mouth they all knew, the DA, his own public defender, they all gave him what was suppose to be a "deal". Something that was suppose to help him out in the long run. My brother had no big time lawyer he had a public defender who he was suppose to give all of his trust too, my question is was his public defender really on his side? If my older brother, or my family, had the money to get a big time lawyer would he have had gotten a sentence that was less then the one he is now facing? Why is money the key to society now days? The worse part about the whole situation is that the friends he was with got less time then him and one even only got house arrest. I would do anything to have my brother home, even if he was on house arrest. They all did the exact same crime so someone please tell me how they all got different sentences; and if your answer is, life just isn't fair, then to me that's not an answer at all. I know life's not fair, but why is our own criminal justice system, that we put our trust in to keep us safe, making this part of others life not fair. My brother is sitting in prison right now, he hasn't even done half of his thirteen year long sentence. Does that sound like a deal to you, thirteen years; some people commit second degree murder and they only go to jail for sixteen years, so what kind of deal is that. It wasn't a deal at all it was a trick. The whole system is one big trick, you either get tricked or your the one creating the trick.

I know everyone has many different views on how they feel on certain topics but why is it that I feel out of place. I feel that my opinion doesn't matter, which it certainly may not but that is the exact reason why this blog is for me. It's so I know that I'm just not throwing my feelings out of the window. This is for me but for you to read. I want to know how others feel on not only daily problems we have encounters with but I want to know how others feel about the economic, social, and environmental problems we all are faced with at one point or another. I just want everything to start to make sense.
